Read a special message from the
acclaimed independent filmmaker
Wolfgang Busch:

Dear Friends,

I am happy to announce that my first
documentary,
How Do I Look, which is
about all the wonderful talent in the Harlem
"Ball" community, will be screened during
the African Diaspora Film Festival on
December 1 in New York City. Kevin Omni,
one of the assistant directors for
How Do I Look,
will appear with me after the screening for a
special Q&A session.

Because of coincidence, the screening of
my film is scheduled to take place on
World AIDS Day. When I realized this,
I was grateful, because my film contains
positive messages that counteract so much
negativity and guilt associated with HIV
and AIDS. One of the highlights of my film
is when I interviewed    Luna Khan           and    Octavia St. Laurent.                Both were courageous to speak out about HIV
issues that face the "Ball" community.

This educational and entertaining film, now
available on DVD, also explores the history of
the "Vogue" dance style with acclaimed
dancers Willi Ninja, Jose Xtravaganza

and    Andre Givenchy.
The famed columnist Michael Musto                       & Kevin Aviance    are making a           special appearance in the documentary.     `                Music by   Harmonica SunBeam,   Tori Fixx, Deadlee. Poems by Octavia St. Laurent and EmanueL Xavier  .

If you would like to join us to celebrate the
talent of the artists in our community,
I invite you to come to the screening.
